Today is the first day of summer! Can you believe it? Summer to me means fun, sun, and family. It’s the time of year your life seems to really kick into high gear.

Yet for most direct sales managers, summer can be a slow time. So instead of feeling like you’re firing on all cylinders with time speeding by, you’re bummed and time seems to drag on.

If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know when I find a tool or technique which can de-stress your day – even a tiny bit – I pass it on to you. So, grab your cup of coffee, because I’m going to tell you about a tool you can use to turn your slow time summer bummer into a high energy summer hummer.

First let me ask you a question. Do you suffer from Leader’s Guilt? Do you tell yourself that one day people will discover you’re a fraud? Or that you’ve just been playing dress up all this time?

When you’re really busy, you can generally keep that little voice at bay. But during your slow times? Fuhgeddaboudit! You know what I mean. Does any of this sound familiar:

  • You wake up in the morning and have five whole seconds of bliss before the voice starts in on you.
  • You’re not sure how to approach or solve a problem and the voice yammers on and on and on until you’re mentally paralyzed and exhausted.
  • You’re just too tired to do what you know you need to do, but you don’t know why.
  • Your friends worry about you.
  • YOU worry about you. Heck, there’s a voice in your head – are you insane?

Here’s the truth:

  • You are a genuine leader with a strong desire to grow your team and your business
  • You love to help others
  • You’re smart and know how to solve problems
  • AND, you’re perfectly sane – quite normal in fact

You see the voice in your head has a name. She (or he) is your Inner Critic. Her purpose in life is to throw down read flags every time you think about something new or even try to enjoy your success a little.

How do I know so much about your inner critic? Because until a few months ago, I had one raging in my brain too! When I tell people I had an inner critic, they always sound surprised. They say things like, “How can that be? You’re always so upbeat and energetic!” Well sure, you can fake it sometimes for clients and colleagues. After all, who wants to work with a Gloomy Glenda? Rest assured, my inner critic was alive and kicking – I just didn’t know what it was called.

About that time, a client of mine, Andrea Patten, wanted help getting her course online. The course is entitled “From Inner Critic to Inner Ally” and in the process of editing, uploading, etc, I managed to read the course. I thought, “This is good stuff, but it doesn’t apply to me.” At the time, I thought my life was pretty darned good.

Until one day it wasn’t. And it wasn’t in a big way. I was stuck and bummed.

Andrea suggested I take the course. I told her I’d read it while we were working on it. Then I told her I thought it was good, but didn’t really apply to me. “Did you actually do the exercises,” she gently asked. I confessed I hadn’t. “Do the exercises, Melissa. That’s where the magic happens.”

So that night, since I had already hit the mental wall, I thought, “OK, I’ll do this.” I still didn’t think it really applied to me or would help, but I did the course anyway – including the exercises.

A few hours later, the fog in my brain had evaporated; the wall I’d hit was gone; and my energy returned to its normal high levels.

What a rush!

It was like a key in a lock had fallen into place. It was clear what had happened and obvious how to turn it around.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. This is like any other personal development course. You take it and you’re recharged for a day or two. Within a week it all fades and you’re back to your old soul-sucking, energy-zapping mindset. That’s what used to happen with me too.

BUT NOT THIS TIME.

This time, within a week – five short days – I’d scored three boons for my business. (You can read about them when you get the course details.)

But it got even better. Within another couple of months, other things fell into place – changes made, opportunities presented. In short, I’ve just achieved one of my big dreams. My business has reached the next level by making the change to providing administrative consulting services to direct sellers. No more fragmented energy. No more brat in my brain telling me not to try for too much.

This is truly the definition of FREEDOM!

So before your inner critic has a chance to make you summer miserable, get the From Inner Critic to Inner Ally course.

My inner ally supports me. There’s no way my dream could have come true had I not taken that critical step and done the exercises which turned my inner critic into my inner ally.

Get the course and get your own Inner Ally. I guarantee you’ll go from “what am supposed to do – summer is a slow time” thinking to finding and making ways to turn your summer bummer into a summer hummer. And that feeling like you’re a fraud? It will disappear too. Get the details now.

Shine On!

Melissa

P.S. In the interest of full disclosure, I do receive some compensation when you buy the course. You should know by now no amount of money could make me recommend something I didn’t believe in. I’ve taken this course myself. If I hadn’t, I couldn’t say any of the things I’ve said here. Furthermore, Andrea doesn’t sell the course herself directly. The only way to get it is through a referral – someone like me who has taken the course and knows firsthand its benefits.

P.P.S. Don’t make me change my mind about you not being crazy. They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result! Break out of the summer doldrums, when-are-they-going-to-find-out-I’m-a-fraud rut and turn your inner critic into your inner ally.

P.P.P.S if you’re saying to yourself, “I dunno,” or “I don’t have that problem” like I once did, then you know you’re listening to your inner critic! Shush it by finding out why this course is 100% guaranteed to work.
