Have you ever been inspired by a song?  It happens to me often, and today I received some inspiration when a song popped up on my playlist that I had not heard for a long time, “I feel lucky” by Mary Chapin Carpenter.  It’s a fun song that reminds me of when I met my husband country line dancing almost 20 years ago, but that’s another story.

As I was singing along I was struck with another notion that this song really relates to YOU Superstars.

If you have never heard it, she sings about all the bad luck she is having in her day but how it doesn’t matter because well she “feels lucky”.  She keeps on going with all kinds of warning signs that today is going to be a bad day, but she doesn’t care she “feels lucky”.

Can you relate?  You often get the nay-sayers who don’t believe in your success, but you keep on working and building your dream.

As the song goes on she sings about how she feels so lucky that she buys a lottery ticket and wins!  Then she professes that “the moral of the story is that the stars might lie but numbers never do”.  Now I’m not saying you are going to win the lottery, but I do know that you all understand the concept of how “numbers don’t lie” and that when you work the numbers in your business you’ll be lucky indeed!

So I decided to take a look at some of the numbers in my business, since we know they don’t lie, and realized that when my Superstar clients are working with me they gain so much more than just getting things crossed off their to-do list…my clients have found:

  • they are double booking parties
  • sponsoring more new team members
  • more time for focused follow-up
  • increased fan page activity and followers

While this is just a small example of what some of my clients are experiencing, and I cannot guarantee you’ll experience the exact same thing, what the numbers do tell me is that when you start delegating and work with a collaborative partner things start happening in your business!

Having a partner releases some of the stress and pressure you feel from trying to manage all things yourself so you’ll not only gain more time but you can earn more money too!  Now that’s what I call being lucky!
