A funny thing happened on my way to being a virtual assistant… Before I became The Golden Rule VA, I was building a network marketing business with SendOutCards.
Has this ever happened to you? I believe in – even love – the product, the people and the company. But somewhere along the way I lost interest. I stopped using this great system. Have you ever “fallen out of love” with your company or product?
For me, it was simply a matter of timing. You see, when I first joined SendOutCards I got really excited about what a powerful tool this could be for virtual assistants and their customers. Only I wasn’t a VA… yet! As I dove in to building my primary business I discovered that many of my Superstars had SendOutCards accounts they were not effectively using. Over the past few years I have helped a LOT of direct sellers create a system of sending powerful card campaigns: via their SendOutCards accounts.
But why had I stopped using or promoting the service for myself?
The short answer is growing pains – both SOC’s and my own. There was a time that I was so busy eating, sleeping and building The Golden Rule VA , that I had no patience for the many changes going on within SendOutCards.
If you’ve created a company of your own you can attest to this near-constant change and the drive for continuous improvement that is part and parcel of any start-up. We entrepreneurs have a picture of the end result in mind – we just don’t sometimes fail to predict the sheer number of adjustments we’ll need to make to bring our picture into sharp focus. To be the best we can be for our customers.
As The Golden Rule VA has settled on schedules and systems that allow me to provide rockin’ service, I decided it was time to take another look at SendOutCards and what founder Kody Batemen has been changing while I’ve been away.
Guess what? I’m in love! SendOutCards has so many good things in the pipeline, it’s MUCH easier to understand… AND explain. The company seems to have returned to the focus I fell in love with in 2009: a great opportunity to make people feel important, while creating an income opportunity like no other.
So, yes… I’m in love. I’m a distributor for SendOutCards and, if you’d like to be introduced to an opportunity to express more appreciation for people in your life, I’d like to help you with that!
PS: If you want to join me in a sharing gratitude with those on your team, your family/friends, or anyone you meet for the next 30 days I’m participating in the 30-day Gratitude Challenge, sending a heartfelt card to a different person everyday for the next 30 days. Who do you know that needs to be appreciated today?
